Mission of the Star Parent Network

Our Group Name is "STAR (Sharing Talent And Resources) Parent Network".

We started Five years ago with 8 parents waiting for their children at Broadway Dance.  Now we have over 1500 members 23 of which are dance studios.

Our members are from 16 different states.

We share audition notices and information, put together workshops, have a shoe exchange, support one another and go after opportunities for education and performing for all ages and abilities.  WE ARE NOT ABOUT COMPETITION!!!!!

Our members are all ages, ethnic groups, and abilities but everyone shares an interest in the performing arts and having fun.  We have kids and adults who perform on Broadway, Touring Companies, Movies, Commercials, Musical Groups, School Plays, Neighborhood get together's and many other venues too numerous to mention.

The network is free.  But you have to contribute in some way and be positive and supportive of all our members.

My name is Shari Foose, I'm the facilitator of the network, all the information our members share is sent to me and I put it out to all our members.  While I can not be responsible for the accuracy and validity of all the information we as a network do our best to monitor the information that we share.
